Basic Fire Training and
Fire Warden Training

Workplace fire safety training for business

In 2006, changes to fire safety legislation in Scotland were introduced through the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (with similar legislative changes in England and Wales).

The legislation outlines obligations for the dutyholder or responsible person (employer, owner, manager) to guarantee that their employees receive sufficient fire safety training at regular intervals throughout their employment.

This must include sufficient instruction and training on appropriate precautions and actions taken to safeguard persons on the premises. Training and instruction should be appropriate to any risk identified through assessment.

By contacting Anderson Fire Consultancy, you can arrange for us to create a suitable and professional training package bespoke to your operating environment and specific premises. Whilst the dutyholder is often best placed to know their premises, they may not have the sufficient knowledge and experience in fire safety to satisfy requirements under legislation. We are here to assist in any way possible to satisfy your fire safety training needs, no matter where you are - we offer this quality service throughout Scotland and most areas of the United Kingdom.
